What is Bitcoin Runner?

Bitcoin Runner is a singleplayer Geometry Dash-style endless runner — jump over obstacles, collect coins, survive the wave. It's accessible from the Dominance.live home rail and lives alongside the main PvP arena. Three sequential levels with thematic music and visual transitions.

Level 1: NEUTRAL — the calm

NEUTRAL exists to onboard new players. The chart waves are gentle, obstacles are spaced widely. By the end of NEUTRAL, players should understand the jump timing and the double-jump mechanic.

Level 2: BULL RUN — the climb

BULL RUN is where Dominance.live's signature audio-visual moment first appears. The Trump speech audio fades in over the first 1.3 seconds (60% peak volume), holds at 60% until 40% of intro, then fades out over the next 60%. During the speech, the chart visibly surges upward (the bull run effect) and 14 obstacles pre-spawn ahead so the player has a continuous chain to navigate.

Level 3: BEAR MARKET — the crash

Macron "for sure" speech kicks in 2.5s after the drop. 3× Disconnected SFX volley. Red flash + camera shake at the drop moment.

BEAR MARKET is the climax. The bear song starts quietly (~15% volume) at the pre-queue point ~5 seconds before the level transition (during BULL RUN's tail). At the exact moment BEAR MARKET begins, the song boosts to 100% volume in 0.25 seconds — the drop. Simultaneously: red full-screen flash decay (600ms), camera shake intensity 24px, downward chart surge, 12 obstacles pre-spawn, falling red candles spawn across the bg.

The bear-market drop choreography in detail

Six things happen simultaneously at the BULL RUN → BEAR MARKET transition:

1. Audio boost. Bear song volume ramps from 15% to 100% in 0.25s.
2. Red flash. Full-screen red vignette decays over 600ms.
3. Camera shake. 24px max amplitude, decays naturally.
4. Vine-boom SFX. Deep market-crash thud at playback rate 0.65.
5. Downward chart surge. The chart line visually pushes down, mirroring BULL RUN's upward surge in reverse.
6. Falling candles. Red bg-candles spawn from above-screen and fall through the play area for the first 60% of the intro (~2.4s).

2.5 seconds after the drop, the 3× Disconnected SFX volley plays (rapid signal-loss bursts). 4 seconds in, the Macron "for sure" speech starts, also fading in over 1 second.

Tap anywhere on the canvas. Quick double-tap = double jump.

Death and restart

Crash into an obstacle = death. The game stops the music, plays an MGS Death or Fahhh stinger (alternating each death), and shows the restart screen. Press Space / tap to retry. Difficulty selection persists across deaths.

Difficulty modes

PAPER HANDS

Forgiving: 25% obstacle skip rate on BULL RUN and BEAR MARKET. 0.85× speed multiplier. Coin reward: 1×.

DIAMOND HANDS (default)

Standard: 25% obstacle skip on Levels 2-3, 1.0× speed. Coin reward: 2×.

WHALE

Hardcore: minimal obstacle skip (8% on BEAR), 1.10× speed, 1.15× obstacle density. Coin reward: 4×.

Satoshi mode (autopilot)

Press S on the difficulty screen to launch Satoshi mode — a scripted AI autopilot that plays a perfect run. Collisions are disabled. Used for: showcasing the game in trailers, letting new players watch a full run before trying. Coins earned in Satoshi mode are NOT awarded.
