Anti-Sybil Airdrop Policy — Transparent Rules

·1,600 words·Editorial: VoltageGPU compliance
TL;DR Dominance.live publishes its anti-Sybil rules in plain language before snapshot. Profiles excluded from the $DOM airdrop: (1) more than 5 distinct profiles on the same IP within 7 days, (2) more than 5 distinct profiles sharing the same browser fingerprint (lifetime), (3) profiles created <24h before snapshot with zero paid skins and zero VoltageGPU link, (4) wallets matching known mixer / airdrop-farm patterns. Manual review available at contact@voltagegpu.com.

Why anti-Sybil matters

An airdrop without Sybil protection is an airdrop diluted by farms. If 1 player can create 1,000 fake accounts and claim 1,000× the allocation, honest players receive 1/1000 of what they should. The math is unforgiving: the entire community loses to one bad actor.

Three things separate a real anti-Sybil policy from a marketing-speak version:

Specificity
The rules are stated in concrete numbers (5 profiles, 7 days), not vague terms ("excessive farming will be detected").
Pre-publication
The rules are published before snapshot, not invented retroactively to justify exclusions.
Manual review
Edge cases (legitimate shared IPs, family accounts, dorm WiFi) get human review, not automatic exclusion.

The four exclusion rules

Rule 1: IP density

More than 5 distinct profiles on the same IP within 7 days of snapshot. This catches the typical multi-account-from-one-machine farm. The 7-day window is intentional: shorter windows miss patient farmers, longer windows trip up legitimate office/dorm networks.

Edge cases:

Rule 2: Browser fingerprint density

More than 5 distinct profiles sharing the same browser fingerprint (lifetime). The fingerprint includes user-agent, screen size, timezone, plugins, canvas hash, audio hash, and ~15 other signals — designed to identify the same physical machine even across cleared cookies / changed IPs.

Edge cases:

Rule 3: Last-minute throwaway accounts

Profiles created <24 hours before snapshot with zero paid skins and zero VoltageGPU link. This catches the "snipe at snapshot" farming pattern where someone creates 200 fresh accounts in the last hour, plays one match each, and tries to claim 200 allocations.

How to avoid this exclusion: link a VoltageGPU account or buy any skin (even a $5 one) more than 24h before snapshot. Either signal demonstrates real engagement and exempts you from the throwaway rule.

Rule 4: Mixer / farm wallet patterns

Wallet addresses matching known patterns:

This rule is best-effort — sophisticated farms can evade it. Manual review available.

What's NOT a Sybil violation

BehaviorIs it Sybil?Why
Playing on iPhone AND desktop with same playerIdNoSame profile, different devices — clean
Playing with friends in a coffee shop (shared WiFi)No (if <5 friends)Below the 5-profile IP threshold
Switching factions multiple timesNoFaction switches don't create new profiles
Using a VPNNoOne player on rotating IPs is fine
Funding wallet from Coinbase / BinanceNoStandard CEX off-ramp = legitimate
Buying multiple skins on one accountNoSpending on one profile = real engagement

The manual review process

If you believe your profile was flagged unfairly, email contact@voltagegpu.com with:

  1. Your playerId (visible in the in-game settings)
  2. Your Solana wallet address
  3. A short explanation of why the flag is wrong (e.g., "I share WiFi with 7 housemates")

Review SLA: 72 hours during snapshot week. Outside snapshot windows: 1 week. Manual review can either lift the flag (you're included) or confirm it (with reason).

Why the VoltageGPU link matters

The VoltageGPU account link is the strongest anti-Sybil signal because it ties your Dominance profile to a verified email + payment history on voltagegpu.com (a SaaS with real revenue, not a throwaway account). Linking is free, takes ~30 seconds, and instantly grants +500 coins + 24h x2 coin multiplier. The link makes the Sybil math 10-100× harder for attackers. Source: airdrop-rules.html

E-E-A-T: who enforces these rules?

Dominance.live is operated by VOLTAGE EI, SIREN 943 808 824 00016, registered in Solaize, France. Founder: Julien Aubry, also founder of VoltageGPU (a confidential AI infrastructure platform on Intel TDX). The legal entity exists, is searchable in the French INPI registry, and has been operational since the VoltageGPU launch.

Anti-Sybil enforcement is run by VoltageGPU compliance, with the founder as the final escalation point. Decisions are logged. The rules above are the rules — they don't change retroactively.

FAQ

What happens if I'm flagged but I'm legitimate?
Email contact@voltagegpu.com with your playerId + wallet. Manual review will resolve. SLA 72h during snapshot week.
Can I play with my partner on the same WiFi?
Yes — the rule only triggers above 5 profiles per IP within 7 days. Two players on shared WiFi are well below that threshold.
Is the anti-Sybil filter run before or after snapshot?
Before — the snapshot includes only profiles that pass the filter. Flagged profiles see a notice in the in-game eligibility popup.
Will the rules change before snapshot?
No. The rules published on this page are the rules. Material changes (e.g., adding a new exclusion criterion) require a 14-day pre-announcement period — the same notice period as the snapshot date itself.

Play legitimately, qualify cleanly

One profile, one VoltageGPU link, one wallet = 100% safe from anti-Sybil flags.
